Altecnic 60mm Radiator Extension Self Cutting Tail Piece ½"

The Altecnic range of radiator valve extended tailpipes are intended to makeup the difference between existing pipework and a new radiator or radiator valves.
If the pipework to a radiator is embedded into a solid floor or wall, to move the pipework would cause a major disturbance and damage to the floor covering or wall decoration, one solution is to use an
extended tailpipe.
If an old imperial sized radiator is being replaced it is likely that the replacement will be metric in size and slightly shorter in length.
Sometimes a shorter radiator may be more appropriate to heat the room, especially with modern radiator designs.
If the radiator valves are also being changed, again the dimensions of the new and old valves may vary, the replacement valves being shorter.
If the radiator is located behind a low temperature surface cover in a nursing home or a decorative cover in a house the use of an extended tailpipe could allow the thermostatic radiator valve to be moved outside of the cover, allowing it the function correctly.
The extended tailpipes are manufactured from brass with a bright chrome finish to match most radiator valves, including those with a chrome finished head and blend in with most modern decors.
