Our Story

Connect was established in 2006 as an independent Plumbers Merchant, trading out of a singular unit in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex, serving the trade and public in the local area.

Since its incorporation in 2015, we have seen substantial growth and expansion, now operating from multiple sites throughout the Essex Area, including our New Daikin Sustainable Home Centre and Train The Trade, training centre.

The Connect approach is simple, we look after & value both our staff & our customers, developing rapport & loyalty. With over 1.5 million pounds worth of stock on the shelf, we pride ourselves on having the right products in stock at a competitive price, with an unrivalled service & wealth of experience to back it up.


Our People: The Key to Our Success

As a result of the extensive training that our staff undergo coupled with our personal approach that we adopt, we have fantastic staff retention. This results in two-fold happening, firstly we have fantastic array of staff that have been with the company for multiple years, bringing consistency as well as knowledge and experience to our customers.

Secondly, the management trainee programme that we employ results in a number of younger staff members coming through the business, retaining the knowledge of our more experienced employees, to continue the progression of the business whilst retaining the high standards that our customers expect.

For larger or more diverse projects, our dedicated sales office team offer our customers a service from start to finish, everything from product selection, to ensuring materials arrive on site without delays. Their years of experience and contacts with in the industry allow them to offer the best product selection at a competitive price.

Showcasing the latest renewable technologies from Daikin, including Air To Water and Air to Air Heating & Cooling, as well as having hands on training & classroom facilities.

Train The Trade

Our new training centre providing excellence in training for the trade. We offer a variety of different courses including Plumbing, Renewables and Refrigeration in a friendly and supportive environment, ensuring that every experience is a positive one.
