The iStop anti‑freeze valve is designed to protect air source heat pump circuits from freezing. It houses a thermostatic element that opens at around three degrees Celsius, automatically draining water before ice can form. Once the temperature rises again it closes, ensuring heating resumes quickly without manual intervention. Constructed from corrosion‑resistant brass with PTFE seals, it operates quietly without electrical power. It supports working pressures up to ten bar and temperatures from zero to sixty‑five degrees, making it ideal for British climates. View less
